It's about time I updated this thing. I can't say that my posts will be more frequent, but I have been visiting this site more often lately than ever before. Why, I can't honestly say. Flickr would seem the more obvious destination for me, but I get so easily intimidated by "art communities". I'm more comfortable around the nerd/geek atmosphere in DA, and there are some great artists here. I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of "art" here is fan art. Meh, I draw fan art.

So I started school, and it's not half bad. I struggle with a few teachers, but I understand why we have to do the mundane projects we're assigned. We're learning skills, and to expand our creative eye. We're no longer making art for ourselves alone. It is for us and others as well, make sure we get the general same reaction from before. So yea, it's alright. I'm a little too comfortable, and going to push that with the project I'm doing for Studio Forum. More on that later (maybe).

Tomorrow (Saturday) - MFA Boston~! Most of the freshers are complaining but I'm looking forward to seeing it all, especially Sargent's and the Egyptian collection.

Fun Fact: At least twice a week I'm in school 13 - 15 hours, carrying a 20pound tote full of books to and from the station everyday. Winter is going to be so fun.
